| Your Donation is Appreciated! For the past fifty years, Johnson County Aging and Human Services (AHS) has been dedicated to supporting vulnerable residents through a variety of essential programs. From the beginning, access to food has been a top priority, ensuring that low-income individuals and families do not go hungry. As the community has grown, so has AHS. Today, we operate three food pantries located in Gardner, Lenexa, and Mission. These pantries provide supplemental food and hygiene products, helping families stretch their budgets to cover other critical needs like medication, childcare, and transportation. Thanks to the generous support of our community, our shelves have stayed stocked for many years. Post-pandemic, the demand for food assistance has surged while donations have declined. To meet this growing need, AHS is now seeking additional funding sources, including grants and community contributions. Your donation can make a direct impact. Every $50 donated helps feed a family of four for four days. Contributions will be used to purchase food and hygiene products that go directly to Johnson County residents in need. Thank you! |
